and Salon Etiquette
Ambiance
Our goal is to provide a relaxing and quiet atmosphere; therefore, please maintain
a quiet level of conversation. Cellular phones and other electronic devices
are not permitted in the spa area. Only clients receiving spa services
will be allowed in the spa area. To ensure a healthy environment for
our clients, smoking is not permitted.
Children
To allow a more pleasant visit for yourself and others, please make arrangements
for small children. Children are not allowed past reception area unless
having services.
Appointments
We recommend making reservations for treatments and services at least one week
in advance to allow for your desired appointment time. However services
are available on a daily basis by appointment in limited time slots. We
also recommend that you schedule your next appointment prior to leaving
the spa. A credit card is required to guarantee all reservations. Genesis
Day Spa and Salon cannot guarantee services for late arrivals. Guests who
arrive late will be charged “FULL VALUE” of the services scheduled.
Gift
Certificates
Gift Certificates are available for dollar amounts, individual services or
spa packages and are valid for up to one year from the date or purchase. Gift
Certificates are not transferable, refundable or redeemable for cash; however,
they may be exchanged for other services and products at face value. Gift Certificates
must be presented upon check-in.
Check-In
Please arrive for your appointment(s) 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting
time. This allows time to fill out the appropriate client form and begin
relaxation prior to your services. Upon arrival you will receive a robe,
sandals and a locker. We recommend taking a cleansing shower before spa
body treatments. Please keep your locker key with you at all times. Genesis
Day Spa and Salon is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Medical
Conditions
If you are pregnant, have heart or circulatory problems, or diabetes please
avoid all heat treatments. We ask that you please inform your service provider
of any medical conditions you may have so that we can provide you with the
best treatments.
Cancellation
Policy
Our technicians reserve their time for your appointment; a 12 hour cancellation
notice is required for all salon and spa services. A 24 hour cancellation notice
is required for groups of two or more. Cancellation of an appointment in less
than the specified time will result in a fee of fifty percent of the services
scheduled. A “NO SHOW” will be charged full value of the services
scheduled.
